16 year old David Wentz found a 3″ petrified shark tooth (technically Carcharodon megalodon) while snorkeling near his Michigan home last summer.
The 60+ foot shark has been extinct for over 2 million years, and it is suspected that the tooth was moved to the area by humans (either modern or prehistoric).
