I finally gave in and switched to
WordPress. Part of why I haven’t been posting recently (..ok, its been about 5 months) is the old interface and the constant need to update Drupal. Unfortunately, accounts haven’t been migrated over, so you’ll need to reregister. The good news is its much easier to post now, so I should have something up every few days. (And I can queue posts ahead of time when I expect to be busy, yay..)
Unfortunately, we probably won’t be diving this year. Just had major knee surgery (you can look up all the gooey details if you like: it was a medial reefing, lateral release, and open Fulkerson osteotomy.) The Fulkerson is the biggest issue – doc says climbing a boat ladder could break my leg (literally) even if I take my gear off first. (We’ll reevaluate after some physical therapy and such..) And I don’t want to be “that guy” who needs a bunch of extra time and special treatment..
